Embarking on a New Year

It's been a while since I blogged, I know, but I've been taking the past few weeks to relax and make the most of my winter break. 2024 was an amazing year-building foundations that I know will help map out a successful road in my life, and forging stronger and healthier relationships. 2025 looks very promising, and I couldn't be more excited.
I'm currently sitting at a local Starbucks as I write this-I needed to get away from my room for a while. It's a gloomy, cloudy New Year's Day, but my heart is full of hope. In a few weeks' time I'll be heading down to Florida for my grandmother's birthday party. She's getting old, but she's happy and thriving. She's the last grandparent I have, unfortunately, so I want to enjoy every moment I can with her.
I've realized that I'm nearing the end of writing The Phoenix and the Dragon, and I'll be editing soon and posting chapters probably by the end of January. Then, I'll begin outlining the second book to the trilogy: The Stars Will Fall, and The Warrior Queen.
Also, I've finished outlining the map of Draetas, Zephyran's kingdom, and I'll probably be coloring it once I finish blogging here.
Wish you all a happy and abundant New Year!
