A Good March

So I'm back in the coffee shop now (managed to get a spot in the very small, but very good one by my house) writing away. I'm feeling a lot better now, and I think a part of it is because I've been getting out of the house more.

Also...I cannot believe I've started showing my face! (on Tik Tok and Instagram) This certainly isn't something I initially wanted, but I decided to go off on a limb and post myself talking about my writing lore on Tik Tok, and it's gotten thousands of views and some engaging followers! Honestly, I went into it thinking no one would care, but I was wrong! It's so nice to build a community of people who enjoy your content.

There's something about collecting a group of humans who love your content that feels so wholesome to me! Haha.

I love being self-employed and having my own business, but the loneliness it comes with certainly isn't easy. I have a trip planned in the end of April, but in the meantime I'm going to find ways to amuse myself and FORCE myself out of the house if need be.

January and February were good stepping stones, but they were hard. Very hard. It was a hard I needed though, as it was necessary for growth.

Anyway, I'm not going to leave this coffee shop until I've written this scene i've been avoiding to for a week or two now. It's a very emotional scene, and I've already been emotionally taxed in my real life, so to jump into Aesteris and feel it more...Very hard to say the least.

Blogging has been a good way to let out my emotions though, I'm so glad that I've made this safe space for myself. Even if no one is reading these posts, that's okay. I'm happy to be talking to myself. I do that often as it is, hahaha.

Now, let me be honest. I'm hoping to finish drafting The Phoenix and the Dragon by the summer, and I will post chapters on Wattpad as I edit them. I was hoping to get on A03, but apparently you need to join a waiting list to be on that platform? I could have sworn I made an account there a while back.

Honestly though, everything aside, I'm looking forward to summer of 2025. No school, no 9-5, just me, my business, and some sun. I'm hoping to continue the wizard101+pirate101 game grind tradition going. And who knows? Maybe the red string theory will come to fruition in my reality and I'll find the person on the other side of my string.

Anyways, enough rambling. Off to Aesteris I go!
